Marie Michaels

The world lost a beloved mother, Marie Marguerite Michaels, on January 6th, 2021. Marie passed in her home surrounded by her favorite things, her son Robert and her cat BB.

Marie was born to Marguerite and Edward Fargo in New York City on December 1st, 1949. She grew up in New York City and graduated from City University of New York with a degree in Education.

She started out as a teacher but would eventually find happiness and success as a Business Development Manager. She was a private person, but her long battle with Ovarian Cancer didn't stop her from enjoying life.

She enjoyed shopping with her friends, spending quality time at home with her son and cats, and enjoying a good science fiction film.

She loved being a world traveler. Her favorite place to visit was Italy but some of her most memorable trips were when she and her son were able to visit Ireland, England, France, and Germany.

Marie is survived by her son Robert Michaels and cat BB.

Friends are invited to say a final goodbye on January 16th at Integrity Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleums in Houston, Texas. Viewing will be from 9:30 am to 1 pm with formal services starting promptly at 1 pm.
